My hosting is provided by a friend of mine. The same password that i use for pretty much everything i do it right there in the config.php for him to see if he wanted to log into my account and see it. Hes a friend, bu ti dont want him to know that password. Is there a way of encrypting this pass?

No.

Use a different pw.

Honestly, it doesn't really matter what that password is, as you won't be using it really for anything other than the vbulletin installation. So you can just make it pretty much whatever you want. I don't see why you'd have to memorize it ;)

Im really just wondering what other instillations it has asked me to use it for. Other config files for hacks that i might have iunstalled maybe. Maybe the vba gallery for example. I'm no tsure.
