How can I make a relative link appear in a PM?

I need to create a link to a thread in a PM that takes into account the URL that is being used. For example, if the person is logged into www.vbulletin.org or vbulletin.org, I need the link to change appropriately:

www.vbulletin.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=111
vbulletin.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=111

How can I do that?
