View Full Version : How to add more "Thread Management" options? Or Prefixes?

I would like to be able to add other "notes" next to thread titles that look like the "Sticky" when you sticky a thread in the thread title

I wish to add custom drop down box that has many options.

This is a bit hard to explain but I will try.

The person clicks on "A" in the drop down box, when the person posts the new thread the thread title in the forums would show:

"A:Thread Title"

Can this be done? Are there coders who work with vB that I can pay to do this for me? Perhaps a website were I can hire someone to do this as I may not have the time for trial and error...

Thanks.

(Now that I look at it, I think what I want is your "Prefix" mod, how can I get that? )

Thread Prefixes

Brief Description of the Modification

This modification allows your users to choose a thread prefix for each thread. To do this you are able to select an appropriate prefix from a list beside the title while posting a new thread - for example 'Help', 'Problem', 'Search' etc.

Hehe, I've been out of the vB loop for a while now. This was very easy to install and is almost perfect, all I need to figure out how to do is to remove the prefixes boldness in the forumdisplay.

I'll ask that in the correct thread. Thanks a ton, again!
