Is it possible to disable smilies on a per user basis ? I have a couple of members with an eye problem which is made worse by one particular smilie . . . but it's very popular with others.

There's a hack for vb2 here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53594 but I need something which will work with 3.5.

I made this (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=69207) for 3.0.x, but I haven't had a chance to look into doing it for 3.5.x yet.

I used this mod on my 3.5.4 board and all seems to be working. I did change on piece of this and that was I chose NO to hide the field (instructions say Yes to Hide). OOPS spoke to soon.... not all smilies are disabled.... Since I am not a PHP coder.... I am completely stumped.
