A change in the templates

Does anyone know were and how i adjust this one?

To expand the text area you'll need to go into Admin CP:

Styles & Templates --> Style Manager --> All Style Options --> StyleVars and find Message Area Width.

As for the second part of your question go to Main CSS and scroll to the bottom. In Additional CSS Definitions enter:


#controlbar, .controlbar {
background-color:#000000;
}


Change the "#000000" to whatever color value you want.
