Re-add all hacks?

If I add new skins then I'll have to add all the hacks all over again to each and every skin I add or is there an easier way?

Aw man..What about the data in those hacks? Like vbucks etc...

You only need to redo the template edits, not the whole installations again. Everything else is in the db so will display as long as the template edit is done.

If for any reason you browse to a page such as forum/myhack.php and you just get a white page, reimport the xml ensuring that you set it to overwrite existing and that will reinstall the base templates for that hack.

Do people generally update every single time or do they wait? How often do updates come out? I bought my licsense at 3.5.4 so I haven't been through one yet.

most people update every time, although some just apply patches. The upgrades come out just as and when required unless it is a major update (ie from 3.0.x to 3.5.x was a major update).

It is important to kepe on the latest version as this makes life more difficult for hakcers as any vunerabilities are fixed.

If you're referring to template edits, in most cases (if the new version doesn't say to revert them), you won't have to redo them. Just add that style as a parent style and only do template edits to the main style.
