Hi everyone,

I searched around VBulletin.org for a solution to this, but have yet to find one.

I would really like a hack or add-on that would allow users to, when editing their profile, see an option that they can check off labelled "Make my profile private".

What this would do is only allow users who they have listed as 'friends' or 'buddies' view their profile. People who arent in their buddy/friends list will see an error message "This user has decided to make his/her profile private for friends only".

Also, I would like the ability to allow the user to make certain sections of their profile public or private. For example, they can make their name and birthday public, but their location and 'about me' section private for friends-only.

Any suggestions? Thoughts?

I'm willing to pay a coder to add this functionality. Just PM me if you're interested.

Ill try. It sounds pretty simple. I am not a coder on here but I have made myself little products that I have never shared. I will contact you A.S.A.P when I am done. And I will be sure to test it on my test board. But if a advanced coder will like to do something I will be willing to let them do it.

PS: I am not sure if I can promise you I will finish this, I may quit on the project if I cannot do something. Or I will just get a little help :P
