automatic url tags

is there a way you can have a post recognise a http link so you dont need to put in the url tags?

also the same with images if poss?

well it should automatically parse urls. ie if i type www . vbulletin . org without the spaces you get www.vbulletin.org You do need to put the www bit in though, and if it isn't a link starting with www then you will still need to use the http bit. the only thing with images would be, how would it know if you wanted to showthe image or just provide a link to it?

i think that with 3.0.9 you have to use the [url] and [img] for the software to recognise its an actual link/image where as 3.5 can detect this automatically

not sure tho could someone clarify this i've only ever used 3.5 lol
