My users will often want to post the same attachment to serveral posts over time. Now if they try to re-post and attach the same attachment vB gives the error:
"You have already attached this file in thread :"
Is there a way to can select one of their existing attachments to attach to their new posting as well? Is there an existing hack to support this??
Thanks,
Barry

If they right click on the attachment, they can copy the URL of it then post the URL in their new post. When comeone clicks on the URL it acts just like the normal attachment. The only setback is that if it is an image attachment, they cannot have the thumbnail more than once as it won't be generated and IMG tags won't display anything.

And this is for image attachments. So an even better idea is to copy the attachment URL and then use it as an in-line Image!!! Thanks for getting me thinking about this!
