Cookie drop for COPPA compliance

Hello,

I need to have my forum set up so that when you enter an age under 13 to register, it denies them, and then drops a cookie so they cannot just hit back and enter a new age.

I checked this thread over here, which was a discussion of this same issue in 2004. I tried the link at the end of the thread to a supposed hack for this, however, the link didnt work for me.

Any one know how this is possible?

I posted this a little while back, however never received a response.

I am in desperate need of this, and any information would really help. The vbulliten.com thread i found on this subject referred me to find help on this site.
