Profile Comment System - Where did it go?

But it seems to be gone?

I have been informed of some copyright infringement issues that have ultimately caused me to remove the thread. No, not at all. Users who downloaded the hack legally in the hack thread when it was up can use it on their site, but you must comply with what I thought was a simple copyright:

"You may not distribute this hack in whole or part."

Thats not an explanation, just an accusation. Can someone reply to my earlier post? I had requested this hack, based off of the one done on phpbb. Is someone telling me that putting comments in the profile is god forbid illegal??

Also, where then is the hack that it was infringing on? Or is this another 10 year old hack that cant be converted because the author is dead or just lazy?

it means that someone has to code it from scratch. Though more than likely, they will look at the origonal code and change it sufficiently so it looks like it's been coded from scratch ;)

Ah ok, that makes some sense. Now I feel more like the idiot I am.

But the question remains that why remove it and based on what? I have my members using this thing and I just dont want to pull it. Will there be one I can move to?

I hate it when these things happen, it was a good piece of work and I honestly cant find anything else on this site like it.
