Looking my status: "Stylist"
Why this status, lol ?
French translator official, yes :D, but stylist .....:p
Stylist = template customizer ?
'Advanced Stylist' - hehe.
Nice to have our own set of titles i guess.
Thanks,
Mat

Oooh, I'm a Stylist too.. neat. :)
Stylist are users that have posted template modifications/styles. Similar to the coder titles, they will change depending on the number of releases and installs you have.

Wow.....it sounds so.....:bunny: homosexual. :bunny:
Do we get to know the numbers between titles for this set?
Oh does the style titles override the coder ones or just if the user has more code hacks than style mods?
Thanks,
Mat

Well now: That's a stereotype and a half. :bunny:
Do we get to know the numbers between titles for this set?

No

Right now it works like this:
If you are a master coder, and an Advanced Stylist, you'd have the title 'Master Coder'. Likewise if you are a 'Coder' and an 'Advanced Stylist' you'll be listed as 'Advanced Stylist'.

Ah, but what if you are regular/advanced both?

Actually we cannot tell you exact numbers, as it's a more complex formular now to determine what title you get.
We choosed it in a way, that most users kept their titles they have had, but not all, just most.
That script calculates points out of the released hacks /installs
If the templatepoints are more than coderpoints, you get a stylist title, otherwise a coder's title.
And if you don't like the name "stylist" just suggest another one ;)

Even though I will never have to worry - I would suggest "Designer" - rather than "Stylist", which sounds like my local hairdresser !

Agreed. However, just because you release a vbulletin skin, doesn't make you a designer. Some skins can be made just using the style system...

Awwww. I was getting used to being a Stylist. Oh well. I guess I'll settle for Designer. I really appreciate vBorg though for recognizing those of us who are good with html and graphics, but lack in the areas of php. =D
Paul, I can do your hair later.

LOL, when I first saw the title, I expected something to do with hair. I am a former naval barber, so I thought wow. Now, I might consider not only scriptwork, but brightwork as well.
For those not familiar with the naval term "brightwork," consider it somewhat an appearance term.
I actually like template modification as it is pretty easy stuff to do, but never thought it would go anywhere. I have been hacking since my nuke days, so I will enjoy actually getting credit for work once it has met said criteria.
Good work vBTeam!

Thanks for changing it :)
Not that I've ever made a design or style from scratch in any case...
