Simple HTML form posts to a forum

Hey there, I run an MMORPG guild and on my frontpage, I'd like the ability to create a simple HTML form with textfield inputs. After someone fills out the form, I'd like the key/value pairs posted to a forum on the same machine. I am proficient in SQL & PHP but I'm not sure how to integrate this with vBulletin.

Can someone point me in the right direction? I don't need a lot of details just some pointers to the right info.
