This is a casting vote to move the template skins into actual vbulletin templates, split accordingly. Hopefully if enough of us vote for this feature mrzero will move them into properly substainable templtes ...

I know i'm being fussy but this is the very thing stopping me using ibProArcade. The one file template system is illogical and hard to navigate.

For instance i've tried, and failed, to move the games listings to the top and the leader board stats to a new page. This should be simple but navigating the theme files is a real nightmare from an admin point of view.

I really think we need to see proper use of vbulletin templates now. With that in place i think this could be the number 1 arcade script for vbulletin ...

So how about it ? Anyone wish to vote in ?

I think that templates would be an amazing way to go with this....but I think that if he has the time, comments at points where common tweaks are requested would be equally useful :p

He should open up a sourceforge project for this so that many people can collaborate and help out. I'd be willing to help write some code and do some things. I'm sure there are others out there who are willing and capable as well.

Honestly, I would love to have this system use the vBulletin template system. :P Would make it so much easier to edit the templates of the arcade.. (I tried before, and always resulted in parse errors. :()

Let's wait for v2.5.6+ to be released and if then most of you are comfortable with the features it brings along.

I already planned to do more vBulletin-Integration for v2.6.0+ but it is not sure when I will start on that moving from v2.5.x to v2.6.0

It would take away the IBP db driver thats wrapped to use vb. In simple terms the script would become more vb compliant. Not sure if it could be called IBProArcade after tho, surely when these two are done it would be more like vBProArcade. ;)
