Hi,
I want to change the behaviour of the 'Send email to user' function.
Everytime I send an information to my ~2000 users I get dozens of failure messages from my server because of undeliverable mails.
I can imagine different scenarious to change this.
1.
I am searching for an option in vB that changes an option in the usercp then.
If a mail cannot be delivered, for that user the option 'Receive Email from Administrators' should be turned off.
I think that this is the easiest way to get rid of those error messages.
2.
It would also be a good idea to send a PM to that user that the emailadress does not seem to be valid and that he/she has to update it.
If the user is inactive this can increase the db size if he/she never reads the PM or udpates the emailaddress so I have idea no#3 :D
3.
Set a red notification table under the navbar for this user only informing him/her that the email address in his profile is not valid and that he/she has to update it.
I think all solutions can be nice.
