Connecting to SmartFTP???

can you explain how I connect to the internet thru FTP?
I downloaded SmartFTP and i'm having trouble getting connected. Can you help?

that has got nothing to do with vbulletin .... smartftp is an ftp client you use such software to upload files from your computer to your server and download files from the server to your computer

you should ask your host what's your ftphost is generally it's "ftp.yourdomain.com" enter your username and password port should be 21 althrough some hosts have different configurations.If you do not know what those values sepose to be then ask your host tech support (also be carefull if you are behind a proxy/firewall that might cause the connection trouble to)
