Total Thumbnails on forumhome page

just curious, if anyone has or can make a modification to show total attachments on the forum home.
This would be great for media type sites to promote how many videos/images they have...

I just made this hack a few days ago, it shows the total attachments though, not just media. Have a look in my sig if you want to check it out.
