Is there any way we can make it so that a user has to have "x" amount of posts daily or weekly to be able to play games, regardless of their total post count?

In AdminCP > Arcade > Group Permissions, there is a "Post Per Day requirement", and a "Max. plays per day" that you can set per Usergroup.

Actually, the Post Per Day requirement in the ACP is an *average* of your post count and how many days you've been a member. So, you could have been a high poster early on in the site's existence, but now only come for the games and don't bother posting EVER. So, even though your post per day requirement is above what we require, your ACTUAL posts per day are not ... see what I mean?
We want posters to actually physically post two threads or post two replies (or any variation of that) a day in order to be allowed to play in the arcade that day.
If anybody has any suggestions, I would really, really be grateful. Thanks. :)

I had a post from Mr Z. that kinda is what you are after, will search and see if I can find it again. Forces your members to make 1 post for a 24 hour access to play games.
Edit: Here it is in the old section post 1190
