I have installed a new Feature on vbulletin.org: Mystics Thread Prefixes (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=99925) Modification

Right now, there exist Prefixes just in the 3.5 Release Forums, to give an easy way to sort through the released mods. I'd like to ask every Modauthor, to edit their Mods and choose the appropriate prefix for their modification.

Once our HackDB is finished, the mods will be inserted into the DB according to the Selected Prefix.

Another little thing:
When you go to your UserCP -> Options you can now see a new option which allows you to exclude some forums nearly everywhere on vb.org. So if you don't want to see the vb2 forums anymore, there you can do it :)

The thread prefix is misaligned in newthread in firefox.

When I go to update my one BB Code tag, the thread prefix option isn't there. I hard refreshed and cleared cache and stuff as well. I do click "edit this modification" correct?

Us template hackers don't get the privilage of a thread prefix it seems :(

I did not set up a prefix everywhere yet, just the plugin/extension/modification forums which where not yet seperated into subcategories got an prefix

i will add more in the future, just want to make sure everything works :)

@the alignment: hmm, works perfect for me on FF1.5
m,aybe it has to do with the wysiwyg editor you use, let's wait for brad :)

Hmm, it edits the last update time of every hack when you add a prefix - I don't really want all my hacks to say last updated today.

It does that anytime you edit anything in the postbit for a mod.

You guys need more categories. There are a few specific ones, but most are vague.

It does that anytime you edit anything in the postbit for a mod.I know - which is why I avoid changes as much as possible unless I have actually changed the hack.

Well, don't fear and change the prefix, the last update is now based on the last added/modified attachment :)

Check out the Portal ^^

ok, I am all for the exlcude forums thing, so i excluded 2 and 3. I went to a 3.5 hack that had a link to a 3 hack cuse it was a port of it and i clicked the link and got this
"7thgenCivic.Com, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:"

Here is the page https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?threadid=110183

There has to be a way to still be able to see the threads if we direct link to them?

is this hack pubically available? ive been looking for something like this for a while :ermm:

Xenon
03-23-2006, 07:33 PM
nope, as it's not that easy to make that generalised, as you ahve to enter the ids manually, but i posted somewhere how to do so, just copy and paste the code and change some bits :)

ZombieAndy
03-23-2006, 07:48 PM
thats cool i only want to give members the option to exclude 1 of my forums :)

sorry man, where is your [HOW TO]? i searched but couldn't find it..

Xenon
03-23-2006, 08:10 PM
hmm, no idea either

well it's a small global_start plugin:

// Exclude Forums except direct link to thread
if ($vbulletin->userinfo['field15'] != 0 AND THIS_SCRIPT != 'showthread' AND THIS_SCRIPT != 'attachment')
{
$excludeforums = array(xx,yy,zz);
foreach ($excludeforums AS $fid)
{
$vbulletin->userinfo['forumpermissions']["$fid"] = 0;
}
}
