Protect files from another server on my forum

This may get confusing but i'll try my best to keep it easy to follow

I have two servers....one is for the forum, and one is for files that I allow one of the groups on vbulletin to download....
I'll refer to them as forum.com and downloads.com

I have hidden forums on forum.com that only "usergroup100" can view. I want to have files from downloads.com zipped and offered for "usergroup100" on forums.com but I don't want them to be able to link these files to non-board members.....

so can i make downloads.com/forums/file.zip ONLY downloadable by people clicking the link from wwww.forums.com/hidden/index.php

Use the following hack ..

You can have the files on downloads.com linked using LDM .. have a linked forum from forums.com/hidden (the hack does that for you) .. and the links/downloads can have the permissions from forums.com/hidden ..

The hack can hide the URL of the files stored on downloads.com .. so even members of usergroup100 wont know the real URLs and even if they post the URL of the download within LDM non members of usergroup100 wont have the permissions to use the URL ..
