Not a php coder myself so :ermm:
Sounds simply enough
I would like a form with one field where I can fill in the username
Then on the right hand side a list of forums with checkboxes in front of em.
So I can add users to groups, this way I can give people the ability to do this without them needing admin rights and CP access.
If someone could whip this up, I would be most gratefull.
Thanks

Sorry you really confuse me with this request.
Then on the right hand side a list of forums with checkboxes in front of em.
So I can add users to groups
What you want, make them select forums or usergroups?
Also giving you members the ability to set their own usergroups would also mean they could become a mod or admin.
Have a look at Public Joinable Usergroups and see if that maybe is what you need.

What I'm after is the ability to give certain people the ability to add users to select groups.
So I could list the groups to which they can add members, admins etc would not be part of this list.
Then I can password protect this form and give mods access to it.
I get a fair bit of signups on my site and I have lots of groups with differnent privileges, giving mods the right to add users to certain groups will greatly alleviate the pressure on admins and I do want to keep admins and mods seperate.
Cheers

Why not use Public Joinable Usergroups with a Group Leader (ie. join moderation)?
