We have the ban a user FROM a thread (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=109416) Now we need ban a user TO a thread.

I was thinking a sticky called the "banned users megathread"

bonus points for making them unable to use sigs and avatars in the thread, but it still stays that way when they are unbanned :ninja:

I want to be able to make it so a banned user can only view one thread in the whole forum. And post in that thread only.

I just think it would make for a funny rage-filled thread.

there is a feature like this on www.boards.ie where banned users get banned and can only see the prison forum out of all the 300+ forums.

They can only post in their own threads not others, but they can view others only within the prison forum.

Cloud-Warrior is your man for this as id say he used some sort of code.

Ive tried this myself and it works, but banning them, takes longer, ive to try and install a code in the dropdown menu that is like a 1 click ban.

yes, but i want them only to be able to see AND post in ONLY ONE THREAD

just ONE THREAD, and thats it....

i guess it would be ok if they could see it all, but only post in one thread.

You could set a 'Banned forum' up and make one thread, then disallow banned users from seeing any other forums and also set it so that they can reply to other's threads, but cannot start any of their own.

It's slightly more long-winded, but it would achieve your goal
