switched sites w/ re-uploading everything

is there a way I can switch URL's without having to download all my files and DB, and making a new account a re-uploading everything to the new url ?
can I just change something in Webhost Manager ? a friend told me i could but I can't track him down now

I belive I remember seeing this setting in the Domain CP Panel on GoDaddy.com. Where did you buy the domain?

huh ? this doesn't have anything to do with who the domain is registered with, at least i don't see how it would, but since u asked.. the old domain is godaddy and the new one is from network solutions
