Removing Catergories in ACP

I had a bunch of mods installed on my forums that I have just uninstalled. I uninstalled from the plugin option, removed any extra sql files laying around and deleted the files from my server. However they are still listed as catergories in the acp.

Am I missing a step?

If they are still listed after a refresh of your ACP, then you forgot to remove the ./includes/cpnav_XXXXX.xml file for that hack.
