who's online on every page

I want to show who is online on everypage, i saw a mod for this but only for 3.0.x anyone know how to do this w/ 3.5.x off hand?

You can do it with template edits.

which template edits.... I tried just pulling the what's going on info and adding it to other templates but it doesn't work :(
