Read their page, they use editize to create all of their non-forum content.
It's not a mod per se, it's custom coding.

Sculli The index is all vbulletin and ofcourse it custom. That why I ask if there are any simular mod out there. Editize is their sponsor for the day.

Sculli, Editize is their WYSIWYG editor.
pokeraffiliates, one of my clients used a simular hack to Sitepoint's but I have no idea where he got it from.

I remember one that allows you to highlight forum threads which can then be displayed on an index or featured .php page. PM me if you still need this and I'll search my e-mail archives.
