How to add that image which appears on top along with the forum title..

replace the favicon.ico in your forum root with one of your choice..

If you have Photoshop, there is a plugin floating around the interweb for creatinc .ico files.

I've added the .ico images as you told, but its not appearing :S...

I struggled with this too, uploaded the favicon.ico everywhere, no dice.

Then I edited the headinclude template thusly:

...and it worked perfectly.
