Hello coders....

I have a request that is probably pretty unique here. I am using my forums as a scientific database resource.. for geckos of all things... I plan on setting up multiple forums for each species of gecko... there are over 1,500 species! ...

If I do this, in the "Manage Forums" display of the admincp, I am going to have a mile of forums to scroll through.... I have a couple of hundred right now and it is difficult to scroll through them already. I can create sub forum categories that will easily take care of this problem..... What I mean is I would like to have the Forum Manager view to be selectable in view depth, as you can select for the web... I have no idea what this would require in the way of coding. I have cash in hand if someone can do this....

Also..... does anyone know if vbulletin can handle several thousand forums? The traffic in each forum will be VERY low, but I don't know if it was ever designed to be used in this manner.... Anyone?

Thanks, Lance

I'm looking for this too. Have not found anything yet, but I could have sworn it's been done here.

I would also greatly appreciate something along these lines. I've been searching for a forum manager re-write for quite some time. I run a forum with many subforums and the current drop-down list format is extremily time consuming to load, and hard on browsers from slower computers.
