PS3 Style

A template loosely based on the forthcoming PS3
Comes with PSD files

Quick Instructions
1. Upload the "ps3" folder to to your forum/images directory
2. AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Download / Upload Styles
3. Import Style XML File > Click on Browse and find where you unziped the .xml file for the style
4. Click on Import

NOTES
The MinimalHard Font is used in header.

Also in the header.. how can i make the image clickable? to go to say the index or home.php page?

The lined up format isn't possible, or at leasnt not without re-writing the Forumhome template..

As for clicking the image, Thats not possible without losing the overlay of the rollovers.

Very nice, i really like this style, but whenever i click on my vbpicgallery, it just goes to a blank page. vbpicgallery works with my other templates, but not this one...

If you mean vBaGallery or Photopost Gallery, you'll need to run the install file and choose Re-Install templates..

Other than that either I have no idea, or you could link me to the hack

ok, i just updated to 3.5.4 and reinstalled the ps3style xml file, and still nothing.

It looks to me like the vBpicgallery templates arn't being added to the PS3 Style.. Best to contact the hack author.

ok i fixed it. i just made the ps3 template a child of the default template and made the default template not visible to the user. and now it works great. everything does now, great template!!!

btw, I spotted a problem with the skin when a member is not got updated profile fields or is a deleted member.

Since my conversion from IPB to VB few members are still due to come to my new forum and if they come and make a post then their post is totally distorted as they don't update their profile fields so i have to manually update some of their fields such as display reputation. Earlier this was the case and my members post was shifted to the right hand side like a skyscraper until I edited his profile from ACP and changed show reputation to yes.

As for members being deleted their post bit information is totally distorted from the post.

I know its a rough picture as to what I'm trying to say but if any solution can be raised to this problem then that would be cool. For the time being it's not a major issue so if a screenshot is required to explain what I am saying then i'll grab one next time this happens again :p.

Nooooooo, the problem isn't with impex :p the whole operation was successul looong time ago :D.

This is my default skin and everyone is using this. I have Midnight blue installed from which i am transferring installations onto this skin such as spam kill etc and that's why I was asking how to get the problem with deleted members (dead cells) distortion.

On midnight blue and vb default skin I don't have any problem like this. It's only this skin that makes some parts of the post bit move to the right, bottom and left hand side. The edit, quote and quick reply buttons get moved to the bottom left hand corner lol haha. Strange yes and if ONLY I had a screenshot to show exactly what I mean :(.

This happens ONLY with 2 type of members (Deleted and those who have returned from old forum onto new forum, thus have some dead cells into their profiles such as reputation turned off etc, which require updating).

I modified a very little amount around the postbit ad showthread area, nothing I can think of that could potentially cause the problems your describing

This is the result from a deleted member. This member was deleted due to having duplicate id. So as he registered he was put through to verification and I deleted his user id. Now if i look at this page on midnight blue skin or vb default then it comes out perfectly fine but on this skin the result is as shown in screenshot.

Yeah :) that's a mod. In this forum it creates a welcome thread for new members. I highly doubt this having to be the cause for the problem i am encountering with deleted members and old members who returned from old forum, or eventually those who have their reputation and other settings turned off :p

It looks like they are set as forums and not catagories in the admincp.

I dont think it will be converted to 3.6 for a while since impreza has been and will be offline for a while.

Impreza04 has done a wonderful job with this skin and I feel this skin was the BEST i've ever had! I have another skin as I got 3.6 now but if he can convert this then i'll definately revert back to using this skin!

not sure if anyone will ever see this since this thread is a bit old. But since i uploaded it i can not post in the forums at all. Every time i try to post it tells me the post is not long enough. Any idea how to fix this?
