Inferno RSS View Feeds for vBulletin 3.5

Installation

Installation in two easy steps:

1. Upload all the files from the "files" directory
in this zip into your forums directory.

2. Import product-1900.xml as a product.
(Via "Plugin System" > "Manage Products" >
"Add/Import Product" in your Admin CP.)

xmlparser.php == forum/includes/xmlparser.php


Template Change

Template: navbar

now open your navbar template:
Admincp >> Styles & Templates >> Style Manager >> *template* >> navbar

Find this code

Hi

I have installed
I cannot see anywhere to add the RSS feeds in admincp

I also get this error


Database error in vBulletin 3.5.3:

Invalid SQL:
select r.*, f.title from rssfeed r left join forum f on(f.forumid = r.feed_forum) order by r.feed_name;

MySQL Error : Table 'web18_4rum.rssfeed' doesn't exist

Nice hack! installed! but it'd be very nice if you make it a separate hack or add an option to turn off RSS feed posting to forum. bcuz why i'd dump my forum with rss feeds if i have this ? (i dont like the way its post rss topics in forums) :p

Alas, I could never get Inferno RSS working on my host (something to do with how DreamHost handles cURL (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=904779&postcount=501).) And yet, ArticleBot works fine, go figure.


ArticleBot is much more feature-rich, and one of the best-supported hacks I've ever seen. Would love to see a "viewer" like this for ArticleBot.



EDIT: I'll check out the standalone ("self working") version.

Ello.. Brother!! I like this hack.. But I got a prob with my skin.. Chk Our Developer Site (http://www.golpo.net/devsite/news.php).. Is it possible that do it in a fixed window? It 'll b best.. If u move the send box in footer or upper side.. Then it must appear in a fixed style widout having any problem.. I'm gonna use it in my main site :D

Yeah, I am planning this as a fixed window. Now, I'm controlling and fixing the errors. I think it is better to fix all the problems and publish it once. Isn't it?

Is there a way to have the RSS posts show up better?

In the Thread Post RSS Construct I am using XLM, but that doesn't show up well on my forum. The links are broken. What is the best way to use the mod and have the RSS feeds post well? They show up excellent using this mod, but when they post, the links are dead.
