Hey everyone, its almost 2am in the morning and I always find myself sitting here around this time debating what I should code next. With so many modifications out already, its hard to come up with some good new material. Thats why I have started this thread.

What I want to do is ask you what you think would be a great benefit to the vBulletin community. What do you think should be released next? I know alot of you non-coders have so many things you can think of for your personal use, but I don't want to code something thats only gonna benefit a few users, I want something that almost everyone could use. For example: CMSystems, Gallery Scripts, Personal Blogs, ect..

The three mentioned aboved have all ready been relased, so what else is there to create? What I would like to do is get a couple of old school coders aboard on a really nice project that could benefit alot of people who use vBulletin. Anyway, enough of me rambling. Tell me what you think would be a nice project to have released. Thanks for your time. :)

As far as I know.. there's only one "Classifieds" system..

But that's currently the only feature I have seen requested quite a bit, and that I personally would have a use for.

Well.... my "Want 2 do 4 vB" list is still quite long....
I only harly find the time to make everything on there....

Classified ads or a wiki type glossary or a list of useful phone numbers for each area.

User forums subscriptions management interface - one page list of all forums & subscription status, with subscription checkbox selection.

Additional subscription type - receive all posts per forum, turned on by admin per forum, is especially needed for low traffic special interest forums.

How about a Rating system (like hot or not) for user profiles, with the rating to also be displayed in the postbit? Also a leaderboard for top guys/gals.

To foster good conversation about current news, how about a community RSS reader, with hooks to make it easy for folks to post interesting links?

Atakan's viewer is based on Inferno code, I (and others) can't get it to work on some servers. It's a regular (in forum) RSS reader though. Would be nice if Atakan responded to any requests for support, or had based his product off of the superior ArticleBot engine.


What I'm thinking is a system where members could submit RSS feeds for inclusion. And everyone can vote on/read these RSS feeds. When members encounter a headline that is interesting or bears further discussion, they can click a button to post it in the forum (title, summary, link, as well as their commentary.)

This would be a very effective way to foster good discussion!
