View Full Version : Stats skipping days completely??

I was looking at my site's stats and I noticed that for some reason February 14th is missing from all of the stats pages ACP -> Statistics -> (registrations, active users, new posts, new threads, etc...). It's as if we didn't even exist that day. Any reason this is happening? It's not because of the "include empty results" or whatever, I don't have any empty results anywhere that would make it not show. So hopefully someone can help find the root of this problem. :(
Also worth noting, I remember viewing the stats on the 14th and the bottom two dates both showed as Feb.13th, instead of the 13th and 14th. Also, I don't want to rebuild statistics because I'm not sure what damage it could cause to the database and what might be lost. :(
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Has anyone had the chance to look into this yet?
Update: Now today it's skipping the 15th and seems to have combined the 15th stats with the 16th's results.

Or maybe those results don't have anything to do with the 16th after all...they combine for 84 total, which is also the result of the last two displayed days (13th and 15th) on the image above. Something is seriously buggy here.

Does anyone look at this forum? Is there a more appropriate forum I could ask about this to get some support?

As this is standard vBulletin functionality, you should ask for support at vbulletin.com - after making sure that it is not caused by any Hacks.
Actually, I don't have the slightest clue how this could happen.

I am having the same problem, however my forum is skipping days at a time. vBulletin.com was not able to assist and told me to disable my hacks.

Sounds to me that on some days your Scheduled tasks are not running. Did you make any edits to your footer template?

Hmmm, I have done the following changes:
Added two google adsense banners
Added IntelliTXT code
Added link to TOS on line with admincp, modcp, privacy, etc. links.

I had the same problem - I noticed that if I ran an update on counters, the stats for that day would be totally hosed.
I also posted here and on vb.com and got not advice...
Dunno, I just wanted to tell you that you're not alone! At least it looks like you're numbers are being added to the following day - for me, my numbers were just gone...grrr

Enable logging for the stats task to see if it is being executed every day.

I changed the time of the Daily Statistics Log to a low load time, this seems to have fixed the problem. Looks like it may not have been completing?
