I've been trying to get this system called "MK Portal" working. It looks really nice but I've havent been able to get the cookies to read, thats a different story for another thread on another forum.
*PROBLEM*
I tried using a custom cookie setting (which didnt work) and now I CANT LOG IN !!!! So I can't get to the vB admincp to change the cookie setting back!!
OMG PLEASE HELP ME ASAP NO ONE CAN LOGIN
I read every thread with "cookie" in the title and none of them were helpful to my problem.
Thanks :squareeyed:

Wait for the girlscout to come along with new cookies? :D :D
In your vB zip-file there is a folder called do_not_upload. From that folder upload the file tools.php to your admincp directory.
Run tools.php from your browser (forumurl/admincp/tools.php) and reset the cookie domain and path to their defaults.
Remove tools.php when finished.

This is a good thread for any noobs out there clever enough to use the "Search Titles" function. I'm sure someone else will have this problem along the way.

If you have a look at vbulletin.com, you will find that 1 or more users a day will have themself locked out of their AdminCP because of wrong cookie settings. Thinks has already improved since more warnings and a dropdown with defaults was added in 3.5.
