Hey Guys!!

This is one of my Php-nuke themes that my team decided to convert to vBulletin 3.5.x . The convertion came out better then I thought it would but i thought the vBulletin Community could use a good Xtrato Theme :rolleyes:

NOTE: Works on 3.0.7

INFO

Xtrato Designs XD-GF public theme for
vBulletin forums systems

Package includes:
- Themefiles
- 1 style XML file
- Logo and navigation resources

Installing
Upload the complete "themes" folder to you
vBulletin root.

ex.www.yoursite.com/forum/themes/

After this go to your Admin panel and install the xml file.
IGNORE THE vB version
Now dont forget to activate the theme.
Thats all.

At the bottom of the theme you can add affiliates or links.

To edit this go to:

go to admincp --> Styles & Templates ---> Style manager (pick the GF) and edit template ---> then go to footer and edit the text within the template!
(I hope that helps i can also make a vid. If lots of ppl dont understand.

I have to say. I always thought you have some very nice and appealing skins. BUT my big issue with your skins have always been the fact that you waste too much space. I think you focus too much on graphics and less on content.

Don't get me wrong, I think you and your team make some pretty badass themes, BUT they could make better use of the space on a page.

i love this, but i do agree the header could be a bit smaller.

hmm Seems its a bigger problem then i thought; its weird its contained to Internet Explorer 6. It works in every other browser (did i say i hate IE6?) I will look at it more sorry guys Maybe tomorrow hehe.

I think i fixed it PLEASE TEST IT AND give me any feedback. It was a bug with upgrading it to 3.5.x that was the problem.

Or are you talking about a portal theme for vBadvanced? What i mean by a splash page is a html template that links to different pages and in this case it would match the theme.

I am doing some modification to the theme to get links working but having issue with the Flash ones. Home| Forum| Downloads| Account
I want to change those links but having hard time where to do this.
Also, I use a Top Site and really do not need the scrolling banner at bottom. Where can I delete the code for this OR what EXACT code do I put to say have this image displayed:

IMG LINKS HERE but I am not a coder so I do not know what exact code to add and as well for all the other images we already use in our top site.
We also seem to have issue with missing avatars and IP images as well as a missing quick reply?

1. Go to Admincp --> Styles & Templates --> Style Manager (pick the GF) and click the <--> button and scroll to Footer. Then click on the template(FOOTER) and search it for " IMG LINKS HERE " and delete that and it will not be there anymore.. Hope that helps!

2. And Downloads link what do you mean? You mean on the footer? Header i cannot do its set to one link (you could make a redirect from that link in your cpanel..)

3. Not really without having to recode and stuff you could edit the image and add something there to fill the area thats all i can say.

4. Ok i can delete that do you have an image and name you would like? umm PM me with stuff like that.

Yes You are Correct, we will be Releasing XD-GFv2 For Vb soon, as we will make it better and more spacious, the header, links and graphics will be modified accordingly, we will do our best to best serve the community and its needs, These are baby steps from our team in to the vBulletin Community, Expect more work from us.

However, besides the little bugs, there are a couple other things I have to suggest.
Why is the main folder called "Themes"? Shouldn't that be called "XD-GF"? Most of us have more than one style in the forum's root directory. If the folders are called "Themes" or "Templates" or "Style Upload" or... things like that, how would we know which is which?
The folder inside "Themes" is the "XD-GF" folder, but uploading just that, I had to modify all the links in the templates, in order for the style to work. After that, everything looked fine, except for the big blank square at the top left. No logo no... nothing! Not even your logo. I 'm not a coder, but looking through your code, it looks like is calling for Macromedia Flash. Do the forum members have to download and install Macromedia Flash in order to be able to see the title page?

Please, don't take me wrong! It is a great style, very fine details, and beautiful design. One of the best I have ever seen here!

The Folder is called themes because thats just how it was done cant help it!
You upload the folder named themes! And if you have a folder named themes already, you go the next level in and uplaod the folder XD-GF. YOU should not have to recode anything on that theme. The reason the Flash doesnt work is because of the tempalte edits you made. You are going to have to upload it the way im talking about.

It has to be like that. I also believe it organizes your site folders better.

there is only 3 things that need fixed...one....quick reply box....two...smilies directoryor something fixed...and third...avatars directory or whatever the problem is fixed...i couldnt fix it...look at the link posted above....
