I Just Installed A New Database Help!!!

i just installed a new database. i uploaded the old backups but renamed them and i need to know how to change the database entries in all the files related to the forum because im able to access my site but i get a database error when i try logging in thanks if you can help me

but im still unable to login

i dont understand tho my site is alright but i get a database error everytime i try loggin into the admincp

when i just click login with no data in the login box it goes to the invalid username page

I suggest looking at the error (email) that was sent to the admin email. It will say a lot on the type of problem you have.
