Hi peeps

I am looking for an auto complete username hack that works in the admincp.
Like it does when you use Advanced search and type in the username it
Pops up matching usernames, Please see image for what i want to see.

I would like this for the Search for Users section and any other
section that might benefit from this.....

This would be really helpfull if you cant rem the full name i.e. you know that
name is Bashy.....but he has some numbers at the end like bashy9297 this is where this request will come into its own....cause it will throw up all names starting with Bashy...

Have i gone on enough?
Are you lost yet?
Want more info?

If not then i Look forward to any ideas??

Bashy, searching for users allready does that.
Just don't hit the button "Exact Match" but the "Search Button"
Then it will return all users that have the searchtext in their name ;)

Also it is not a very good idea to add things that might fail in some browser (like AJAX functions) in the ACP. The ACP must always work, and don't need any fancy stuff.

It was just an idea Marco as i have a bad memory when it comes ot names
and its a pain in the bujtt trying to find the rest of the name using the
member search in the forum, then having to go back to the admincp to do
that biz :(

Evidently this could cause a few probs...worth a try i spose lol

Cheers peeps

Sorry, but out board is translated so I didn't know the exact English phrase ;)

But why use the advanced user search?
The search I was talking about is IN the adminCP. It's even on the index page.
From there you can click on the user you want and edit his options.

Example:
When you search for "eto" you'll find "Eton", "Letol Weppon" and "Magneto". So all you need is a part of the name to find the user you want.

of how it auto completes the names...

I didnt notice the Find user button :o in admin cp and was always using exact match lol

Anyway...igore my request as you have put me right m8...Thanks for the heads up :)
