Prioritize User's Threads

Is there a way to notify Admins visually when viewing the threads of a post was placed by a user in a certain group.

Basically we want some notification that a particular post is of high priority based on the fact that the user is in a special group.

More simply do the admins have separate template files which they load? Or is there a way that I can add to a template such that only users of a certain group get that display?
