Cron replacement, PHP script to run at set time intervals

Hi,

My provider disabled cron (shared hosting for setting up and testing Vb)
But some scripts must run regulary, RSS feeds and some clearing scripts to.
Is there a way to run this with some sort of time script in PHP?

I found a few PHP scrips but I have no idea how to implement them in Vb.

the vb cron system (scheduled tasks) works even if srverside cron is disabled

just look at includes/cron to know how the scripts work

That's why the newsfeed didn't work, it points to the wrong (original) cron :)
