Allow special skin/template to be selectable only by certain usergroup(s)

Hi there,

We used to run a special incentive program that enabled our supportive members to move into a "VIP" usergroup upon paying a donation. VIP members could select an ad-free version of our skin to allow for quicker browsing. This was back on vB 2.3.2.

Now that we've finally upgraded to 3.5.3, we'd love to re-instroduce this feature, but older hacks seem inconsistent with the new forum structure.

Is there a way to allow only certain usergroups to access special skins?
