View Full Version : Private Message... reply gone? (missing)

So a member of my site replied to a message that I replied to saying he got nothing in my response... I checked the sent message, and sure enough the reply is gone. I have the quick reply PM installed, could this be the issue somehow? I noticed a couple other PM's were the same and had looked like I sent bck a message with no reply.

Now I know why I received a reply from someone and he added nothing new to the message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The forum has over 9k members and I hate to have things like this hold us back. (drop down menu's still not working.)

Thanks,
Sean

Please start by confirming if you can duplicate your problem.

It is very likely that your problems are because of modified templates. Please create a new Style, with no parent set. See if you still have the problem when using this new style.

I had a similar problem once, turns out uploading the default styles again fixed it.

Ok, it works that way... but I had reverted all of the templates already. Am I missing something?

Actually, just looking... I did revert everything as it said to on the AdminCP homepage, but when I click the "revert all templates" button under the style this comes up:

This will cause all templates to revert to their default or inherited status, although templates you have added yourself will not be affected.

The following templates will be reverted:

* newreply_reviewbit
* pager_messagelist
* calendar_smallmonth_day_other
* calendar_smallmonth_header
* calendar_smallmonth_week
* calendar_smallmonth_day
* navbar
* navbar_link
* adv_portal
* MEMBERINFO
* postbit
* pm_showpm
* footer
* modifyoptions
* getvehicleinfo
* modifytimeslip
* PAGER
* memberlist
* memberlist_resultsbit
* postbit_legacy
* USERCP_SHELL

So if I do that it may work, but I'll have to do all of my template edits again, correct? I guess I would want to test it after each one too, to see if a certain edit is doing it. It's weird because it's very random... I can get it on one thread, but not another.
