We want to install 3 different styles on our forums but want them all to share the SAME templates/hacks.

Example:
(Style_01) - TEMPLATE SET 01
(Style_02) - TEMPLATE SET 01
(Style_03) - TEMPLATE SET 01

What is the best approach to doing this?

Create 1 Style in which you will make all edits. Then set this style as parent to the others.

Sorry to sound "newbish" -- but how exactly do you do that?

Appreciate your help by the way.

Follow these steps:
- Goto AdminCP->Styles & Templates->Style Manager
- Add New Style: Title: My Parent Style, Allow user selection (set to your choice), Leave all other at default
- Make all needed template changes to My Parent Style
- Edit each of your current styles, and set My Parent Style as parent.
- Revert any changed templates in your child styles if they are identical to the template in My Parent Style.

From now on all edits in My Parent Style will be inhereted in the other styles, as long as there is not a modified version of the template in that child style.
