I run an entertainment website that we're just getting up and running, we have done a few pretty cool interviews and are in the process of doing some reviews and promotion for people so more content will be on it's way soon.

It's still being worked on at the mo, but here's the link to our main site, click forum to see what we have so far, need to get the banner sorted out at the top, but because its a template it's proving to be an issue moving stuff without moving the whole forum lol.

You shound try replacing all of the modern looking images in that skin with the stained/aged/stone looking stuff from the front page. IMHO it would look fantastic. The modern theme of that skin doesn't really fit with the front page.

A lot of eye-candy on the "portal" page -- looks good; but it will ultimately hurt the success of the site (eg. slow it down or worse prevent success).

PORTAL:
- increase text size
- change text color to black (more contrast)
- add more content

DIRECTORY:
- offer some type of description ... right now, the directory is poorly created

REVIEWS:
- ooooooouuucch!

FORUM:
- it feels like I went to a different site ... make it look similar to the "portal" ... you can carry the look and feel on all sections of your site
- header is really bad

Have revamped the forum, added a side bar etc, would be interested to hear what people think now.
