Would be pretty sweet to have an auction system hack for Vbulletin. I run a non profit and we are always looking for a better way to host auctions off of our website.
Justa thought,

BuMp to that korny. I know I would be willing to pay for one setup like flashchat or something. I know there is a way to develop it, sadly some of us aren't gifted in the coding arena. I am going to continue to keep my eye out for one, if you find anything let me know.

The is a commercial script available...

apparently buggy and not very well supported...but dont take my word for it...just from what i hear..and from actual users..
Bump - this should be at least seen for potential development

Check out the site, http://www.vbauction.com
It looks like they are redoing, perhaps working on the coding which would be wonderful. If anyone finds this site up and running post on it.

Was it difficult to get it integrated with vB?

I believe MisterPopularity is the designer/coder of that software... Wish that phpbids intergraded out of the box with VB... Coding usergroup permisions are a Bit@$

Thanks for the info!
I'm new to vB and I'm really hoping to get an auction system soon. I used phpBB2 before and used phpbb-auction with that. My users really miss having auctions on the forum, so I'll take any help I can get :)

There is, however, a site that specializes in integrating vB with proBID... http://www.nashbrooklyn.com/forums/
