quick reply problem [Archive]

Ever since I updated to 3.5.3 my quick reply was not working, I dont think it has anything to do with the hacks I installed because I dont remember it working before I installed them. I installed vRewrite, DFHA Hack and the Userplane chat. Anyone have any ideas, or maybe a alternate quick reply mod I could use.

Create a new Style with no parent set. Try if the problem is fixed when using that new style.

Also, be more specific about 'not working'. Not showing? Not posting when you click submit? Hanging after you click submit? Details are key.

It just isnt showing at all, it is turned on in the admincp still.

Is your showthread customized or do any of your plugins affect showthread.php?

I dont think either of those two plugins effect the showthread, and its happening to everyone.

Turn off one. Check your quick reply. If it works with that one off, you know it's that mod. Otherwise, turn the other one off too and check the problem. You need to isolate the problem. Did you revert your template like Marco told you to?

It would help if you offer the URL of your site.

Also, have you tried any of the suggestions above?
The first thing you should do is disable all plugins and verify that this problem doesn't exists with plugins off.
