close post by poster manually (ie not thread but individual post)

anyone know of or seen a way to have someone close their own post from their own edits (okay if moderator can edit) other than the built in time function in vbulletin?

ie, as a user, i make an entry, and can edit it until i lock it, and then, once i lock it, can't be unlocked or modified by anyone without admin/mod privileges?

this is a little different than thread locking -- is it even possible to lock an individual post?
