When I setup the forum,I have made some test.I deleted some usernames and these users ids are the firsts.
But now My admins want these user id numbers.
for example userid=2 does not exist.How can I change 143 to 2 and 228 to 3.
Now the userid 3 exists.
I am waiting your reply?

Do you know how to edit the database directly? If so, you can do it there by editing the _user table

I have tried,
But I can not find any messages and threads of the users. Also private messages.
In my opinion it does not happen with changing only userid.Maybe we must change threads and messages options.
If there is anybody knows I hope he writes

Just 1 advice: Don't even try this, it is far more complicated then just changing the value in a table.
Besides there is no reason at all. The userid is just an internal number without a meaning.

Create a new user - manually change that ID to the one you want and then merge the two users together.
But as suggested before - don't bother. A lot of features are tied to userid in vB - if you change a userid directly on an active user - you'll be getting SQL errors or posts showing up as a guest.
