PM notification

I am looking for a nice PM notification hack that works with vb 3.5.3 maybe a plugin would be nice.

I see many different PM blink hack for the previous versions of VB but nothing for 3.5.3
I recently upgraded from 3.0.7 where I was using the new pm blink where are the member loved.

What im looking for is a nice simple plugin that will allow members to visibly see when a new pm arrives by either flashing the Private Messages unread number or something really noticable ?

Im trying to avoid all the file edits and prefer a plugin if someone can port one would be usefull to many others as I see many other requests for this on 3.5.3

There are no plugins for template edits.

(At least i never saw a product that did nothing else then a template edit.)
