Still waiting on the logo (old name showing at the moment, name is being changed to pokerforumz.com)
I know there are a ton of poker forums out there, which is why I hope offering .10/post gets some signups!
what sort of things would you add to this if it were your forum?
thanks for your comments/feedback

wow..did you come close to reading my post? Even browse it before replying?
There is nothing 'paid per click' about it...I wasn't hiding the 'real' url. I bought the site and am changing its direction.
Wow. Ignorance.

what is so wrong with ads? it's not like they are popups/unders or non relevant content. Wow some real harsh people 'round here. The 'whole right side' is 3 ad blocks.
How about some constructive feedback?

yup, looks really like all the other poker forums, but I guess it's some good work with the style ;)

How about some constructive feedback?
if you want JUST constructive feedbacks, don't post your forum url here...
we're not here to applause to all forums, but to give our opinion... and as we're not in Cuba, we can tell when something goes wrong...
not happy, learn from it!
when someone PM me because he is not happy with my comment, that proves me that the comment was right!

The style is decent, I think the header is a bit plain though. Too much plain green space, could make your header image wider.
And there's still some default images that I think need some replacing as they dont match the scheme of your site.

Nex...you are ignorant in the truest form..you've made it an art in your post.
Constructive feedback isn't an expectation for applause at all, perhaps you should google the term.
Your comment was so far off base that it's wholly apparent that you just don't see the whole picture.
Is it really bliss like the saying goes?

good, so you don't need feedbacks... next time, forget to be in public. oh, and try to be polite when you're on... my posts we not using such language, and will never have...
... i hate people that don't like to receive negative comments...
... i was to forget: you note that you bought this site... as it is a vBulletin forum, did you contact Jelsoft for the license ?!... the other site you are running (the one in your profile) is a SMF, so i suppose you're not managing both sites the same way...

I didn't use any inappropraite language. Ignorant merely means you aren't aware of the real situation. Yes, I have registered my license with Jelsoft, thank you for your concern. I wouldn't mind "negative comments" if they held merit which yours most certainly did not. Your initial post was implying somehow that I was trying to pull a fast one by disguising the name and that it was some sort of ppc scheme. I clearly, clearly stated in my opening sentence that the 'old name' was still showing and that I'm currently waiting on the design of a new logo...that I'd purchased the site and was taking it in a new direction.
No offense intended, but it seems English isn't your first language, perhaps something was lost in translation...but on the same token, you should be certain what you're saying before you post from the hip so quickly to make an accusation..unconsciously implied or otherwise.

very odd, it's up for me..what browser are you using?

1- language is not related to the way you missunderstood what i write... don't try to minimise your own action by diminishing me... it's completely useless...
2- my first and only comment regarding your forum was really what i meant, and the other posters were in the same path... you just missunderstood the reason why i told it was like all the other pay per click sites...
you are in a defensive position, and it is completely useless... try to remember that people that will comment your forum are usually well informed of many other forums structures and styles...
my comment was about the structure, look and feel about your site... it looks like many others... no real originality, content narrowed (this is good btw)... you think it is insulting, maybe you forgot that you yourself added that it was "another forum about poker... your pay per posts is not different than pay per clicks... bonds would be the same, and credits/cash the same...
that's enough btw, if you can't go thru that, maybe you just need to take a break about this thread...

let it be water under the bridge then, because you're not making any sense whatsoever.
thanks anyways.
if "real url: http://www.talkonlinepoker.com/" was somehow not implying deception then you're right, I don't get it. Let's just drop it.

the only reason why i posted the real actual url is that you did not add the forum url in your first post... having it in the signature is not always representative of the url you want us to comment... i have more than 50 forums, i can't add them all in my sig...
from what i see, you don't want to be commented, you are too sensitive on what we all write... you may need some visits or members, but it will not occur that way.

Your perception is incorrect. I came looking for comments. Agree to disagree.

No, no screenshot yet. I'm waiting on the looks of the new logo. I gave the logo creator full creative choice meaning they can pick color scheme and all...once I've chosen a logo I like, I'll base the design of the rest of the site around it.
No, there are no plans to integrate the .com with the .ca as the .ca site is being sold...in fact, I should remove it from my profile :squareeyed:
