First i don't find a poll usefull in this thread. You already ask for feedback so adding a poll is totally useless..
Your site is loading terribly slow. Took nearly 20-25 second to load all images.
The background color is good but the image quality in your banner is not so good. Both background colors and effects are not so well done.
Google adsense in your navbar messed up with your navigation. Moving it anywhere else will be a good option.
If i were you i'll continue to work on it.
