Hi all,
I'm looking to make it easy to respond to threads with an automated message.
1. My ideal hack would be a third button under the quick reply box (in addition to 'Post Quick Reply' and 'Go Advanced') that, if clicked, would respond to the thread with a predetermined message text. (E.g., for this site, clicking the button could say "* clicks install")
2. As a more basic proposition, what about default text in the quick reply box? This is how I used to handle the issue -- by putting the message in the <textarea.> </textarea.> tags. That doesn't work now...
any thoughts/advice/charity? thanks in advance, everyone.
ps - naturally, with #1, being able to utilize the quote function via quick reply would be super, but i'm not greedy :)
